Galleries and gallerists are a valuable resource for contemporary artists, providing infrastructure and representation, a platform to showcase, and at times, even mentorship. 4x4 is a special insertion in the Serendipity Arts Festival programme this year to showcase some current artistic practices from the country, represented by 4 galleries in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. This addition at the festival stems from the realization that galleries, who are a large part of the arts ecosystem, are often not represented in non-commercial initiatives. The gallerists will be present for the first few days of the festival at their space for conversations with any young or aspiring artists who may have queries about the workings of galleries.

Disclaimer: We would like to thank you all for your overwhelming response to the Festival! It is this enthusiasm that makes our return to Panjim all the more special. Performances and workshops have limited seating. Those who had pre-registered for a performance/workshop will be given preference for entry. Beyond that, if seats are left, entry will be allowed on a first come first serve basis.
