In the installation ‘Pneumatic Sound Field’ a continuum is being created between rhythmical perception of sound, spatial perception of sound and the perception of pitch. A horizontal plane of pneumatic valves is used to produce wind, pressure and sound. The result is a breathing sound environment above the audience.
This project is supported by the Mondriaan Fund and The Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands. This project was originally meant to be part of Sneha Khanwalkar’s curation ‘Sound Interventions’, with a spillover to take place at Serendipity Arts Festival 2020 which was postponed due to the global pandemic.

Disclaimer: We would like to thank you all for your overwhelming response to the Festival! It is this enthusiasm that makes our return to Panjim all the more special. Performances and workshops have limited seating. Those who had pre-registered for a performance/workshop will be given preference for entry. Beyond that, if seats are left, entry will be allowed on a first come first serve basis.
We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
