Time 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Paint a clay pot on site. Fill it with soil. Plant saplings of rice in the painted pot. Take it home. 60 days later, the rice plants will flower for 2 days. This workshop involves a competition for children to upload the photo of their flowered rice plant and a painting of the same on Instagram. The kids will then be encouraged to post on social media about the growth stage till harvest 120 days later. 
Harvest the rice, save the seeds and plant again!
Facilitated by Tinu Verghis, as part of The Art Farm
Participants will be provided with all the materials required for the workshop.  

The participants are expected to register themselves in a book with their details (name, phone number) , paint the pot, plant a seedling in the pot, paint the rice flower on the 60th day and upload to The Art Farm and Serendipity insta page or whatsapp the picture to me. There will be a prize for the best illustration of the rice flower. 

Age: 10-12 year old children

Disclaimer: We would like to thank you all for your overwhelming response to the Festival! It is this enthusiasm that makes our return to Panjim all the more special. Performances and workshops have limited seating. Those who had pre-registered for a performance/workshop will be given preference for entry. Beyond that, if seats are left, entry will be allowed on a first come first serve basis.
